Garbage Disposal Refresher

I love using my garbage disposal, and after trying things like hot water, dish soap, lime rinds, and other remedies, I gave this recipe a try and will never try anything else again.  it cleans the disposal and leaves a fresh lemon scent in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

2 cups baking soda

1 cup salt

1/2 cup distilled water

1/3 cup unscented liquid castile soap

30 drops doTERRA Lemon Essential Oil

Instructions:

Combine baking soda and salt in a bowl.

Add castile soap and essential oils into the mixture.

Add water, one tablespoon at a time, while mixing with hands to form a "damp sand" consistency. It should stay together as you press it together. If you add too much water, just add more baking soda and salt until you have the right consistency.

Grab a tablespoon and scoop packed spoonsful onto parchment paper.

Set aside and let dry for 24 hours or until hard.

Put into glass jar and use next time you do the dishes. Just put 1-3 in disposal and immediately turn on.

Note: This recipe should yield about 32-36 refreshers.
